Tattoo Removal Lasers
Tattoo Removal Machines & Advanced Laser Systems for Med Spas
A tattoo removal machine needs more than a high output. Wavelength, pulse duration, energy, spot size, treatment modes, and cooling all affect what a laser can treat and how it fits into a professional practice.
Our collection includes picosecond and Nd laser systems for medspas, clinics, and beauty professionals. Depending on the machine, available wavelengths include 532 nm, 585 nm, 650 nm, 755 nm, 785 nm, 1064 nm, and 1320 nm, with options ranging from compact equipment to full-size professional picosecond platforms.
Several machines go beyond tattoo removal to support other unwanted pigmentation and skin concerns. Select systems also provide dedicated skin rejuvenation modes, fractional treatments, carbon facials, IPL, SHR, E-Light, or RF.
Explore our professional systems to find the combination of wavelengths, pulse duration, energy, spot-size control, cooling, and treatment capabilities that fits your practice.
The Technology Behind a Laser Tattoo Removal Machine
A laser tattoo removal machine delivers short pulses of concentrated laser energy into tattoo pigment. The pigment absorbs the energy and is fragmented into smaller particles, which the body gradually clears over time.
Different pigments respond to different wavelengths, which makes wavelength selection one of the most important features to compare. Two wavelengths appear throughout professional tattoo removal equipment:
- 1064 nm is commonly used for darker tattoo pigments.
- 532 nm is used for warmer colors, including red and orange pigments.
Additional wavelengths can expand the range of pigment colors and applications available from a machine. Several M-Shape Beauty systems add wavelengths such as 585 nm, 650 nm, 755 nm, or 785 nm.
Pulse duration also varies. Our current equipment includes nanosecond and picosecond systems, with pulse widths ranging from 10 ns on the NDPlus to as short as 300 ps on the PicoErase®.
Picosecond vs. Nanosecond Tattoo Removal Lasers
A nanosecond is one billionth of a second, while a picosecond is one trillionth of a second. Picosecond systems deliver their energy over a much shorter pulse duration.
Our picosecond systems are designed to fragment tattoo and pigmentation particles while limiting the amount of heat transferred to surrounding tissue.
Pulse duration is only one specification, though. Wavelength, energy, peak power, spot size, and treatment modes should all be considered when comparing systems.
